Intelligent Gateways

2Wire HomePortal® residential gateways enable near-instantaneous home networking setup, providing secure high-powered wireless Internet access throughout the home along with integrated advanced services such as Parental Controls, Firewall Monitor, and Web Remote Access. HomePortal GEM™ intelligent gateways and expansion modules enable services ranging from cordless phone DECT base stations and femtocells, to home control interfaces and intelligent home servers. All HomePortal gateways are remotely manageable via the DSL Forum TR-069 specification, so providers can activate, provision, and manage differentiated services via 2Wire CMS or another auto-configuration server. As of 2010, 2Wire has shipped more than 30 million intelligent gateways.

Media Solutions

2Wire media solutions deliver managed broadband entertainment services to the television, along with satellite, cable, digital antenna, or Internet TV programming. 2Wire media solutions enable a variety of entertainment services such as multi-room digital video recording, video place-shifting, media on demand, music management, and photo sharing. MediaPortal® is the award-winning platform for AT&T Homezone^SM, and is currently available across the full broadband footprint for AT&T’s traditional 13-state territory.

Management Systems

2Wire solutions enable service providers to drive down customer care costs while managing all facets of broadband service delivery. The CMS auto-configuration server allows providers to control provisioning and deployment via TR-069, TR-098, TR-104, and TR-106 communication protocols. A suite of server applications, widgets, and tools can be used with CMS or another ACS to gather actionable insight into the subscriber base and deliver next generation services.
